lgin City are delighted to announce the permanent return of Briggsy the Badger!

Briggsy has been in hibernation for some years now, but after a makeover, he is ready to return and take up his position as a fans favourite once again!

Elgin City’s newest signing is sett to make his comeback appearance.

The Borough Briggs faithful have been badgering the club to get the deal over the line for some time, and after been hibernating for several seasons, our new signing will bounce back into the spotlight at the home game with Edinburgh City this Saturday.

Briggsy the Badger was a fans’ favourite for many years at Borough Briggs and his return will be a welcome addition to our younger fan base (along with us who are young at heart)

With support from our friends at Lakeland Verandahs and Ecosse Garden Rooms, Briggsy has had a makeover and is relishing his return to joining the Black and White fanbase at Borough Briggs

Be sure to give Briggsy a warm welcome on Saturday on his long awaited return! He can’t wait to meet you all again and catch up with those high five’s he’s missed so much when in hibernation

Roy van Vessem, director of Ecosse Garden Rooms commented, “We believe in building outdoor living spaces where people come together — whether it’s in the backyard or on the pitch, it’s important that people do that. That’s why we’re proud to support our local football club and the community that unites us.”
